山东海宏牧业占地206.8亩，牛羊舍2000多间，员工126名,是山东省早的肉牛肉羊改良基地，担负着地方品种的提纯，优化改良、级进杂交之重任。集肉牛羊保种、养殖、外调、科研为一体的大型综合性正规化养羊场。高科技秸秆养殖示范基地；山东省龙头肉牛养殖基地；山东省小尾寒羊保种基地，畜牧局一级供种养牛基地。自一九八八年成立以来，以科学的管理理念、雄厚的经济实力、的养牛技术和先进的养羊技术、庞大的专家阵容，每年外调精选出优质肉牛羊品种十六万余头（只），使全国各地的养牛场，单位和超前意识的牛羊养殖个体走向科技奔小康的前列，得到各地及畜牧专家的赞誉和首肯。
